Looking for a Bluehost coupon? Good news: you don’t need one. Bluehost’s discount is built into its own prices for new customers, so the low first-term price appears automatically when you open the plans, with no code to type. On 12 October 2026, Bluehost’s WordPress hosting page showed Starter at $3.99 a month, Business at $6.99 and eCommerce Essentials at $14.99, each for a 36-month term. This page explains what that price includes, what it renews at, and how to claim it without surprises.
The Bluehost coupon deal right now
| Plan | First term | Renews at |
|---|---|---|
| Starter | $3.99/mo | $9.99/mo |
| Business | $6.99/mo | $13.99/mo |
| eCommerce Essentials | $14.99/mo | $21.99/mo |
Bluehost says these offers are for new customers and apply to the initial term only, and that pricing can change. The 36-month term gives the lowest monthly price, but you pay for the whole term upfront.
What the discount includes
- A free domain for the first year on all three plans.
- Free SSL (Let’s Encrypt) and a CDN.
- A migration tool to move an existing WordPress site.
- Starter: up to 10 sites and 10 GB of NVMe storage, for small blogs and portfolios.
- Business: up to 50 sites and 50 GB, plus malware removal and domain privacy for the first year.
- eCommerce Essentials: up to 100 sites and 100 GB, with WooCommerce installed and tools for payments, subscriptions and memberships.
How to claim the Bluehost discount
- Open the plans with the button on this page. The discounted price shows without a code.
- Choose the plan that fits the number of sites you’ll run. Starter is enough for most new blogs.
- Pick the term. The longer term gives the lowest monthly price; a shorter term costs more per month but less upfront.
- Untick extras you don’t need at checkout, and check the total before you pay.
- Note the renewal date, so the higher renewal price doesn’t come as a surprise.
The renewal price matters more than the coupon
The first-term price is a discount; the renewal price is what you pay after that. Starter’s $3.99 becomes $9.99 a month on a 36-month renewal, and more on shorter terms: Bluehost lists Starter renewals at $11.99 a month on 12 months and $15.99 month to month. Budget for the renewal from day one, and compare it with other hosts before you commit, as our guide to cheap WordPress hosting does.
Bluehost’s 30-day money-back guarantee
Bluehost offers a 30-day money-back guarantee on hosting. Its terms say the guarantee covers hosting only, not add-ons, domains or professional services, and that if you got a free domain, $15.99 is deducted from the refund (you keep the domain until its registration ends). Our page on the Bluehost refund policy explains how to cancel.
Add-ons to skip or keep
Checkout may offer extras. Bluehost lists add-on renewals such as domain privacy at $15 per domain a year, a single-domain SSL certificate at $89.88 a year and SiteLock from $95.88 a year. Free SSL is already included, so most blogs don’t need a paid certificate. Add only what you’d pay for at full price.
What about Bluehost coupon codes on other sites?
Many sites list “exclusive” Bluehost coupon codes or claim savings of up to 70% or more. We couldn’t find any working public code, and Bluehost’s own pages don’t ask for one: the discount is applied automatically. A code that promises a bigger saving than the price on Bluehost’s site is usually out of date or not real.
Is Bluehost the right host for you?
Bluehost suits beginners who want a low first-year cost and simple WordPress set-up. If speed, support or renewal prices matter more, compare it first. Our full Bluehost review covers performance and support, and our guide to the best WordPress hosting compares the main alternatives.
