AccuWeb Hosting Review (2026): Prices, Renewals and the Fine Print

My verdict: AccuWeb Hosting offers WordPress hosting from $1.99 a month on a 36-month term with low renewals ($3.99 to $13.99), Linux shared from $2.79 that renews at the same price, VPS from $4.95 (renewing at $9.99 and up) and seven data centres. Its guarantee is 30 days on shared plans but only 7 on VPS, and leaving a discounted long term early costs the rest of the term.

This AccuWeb Hosting review covers what AccuWeb Hosting sells in 2026, what every main plan costs on its first term and at renewal, what its guarantee really covers, and who it suits. AccuWeb is a long-running host (in business since 2003) that offers Linux and Windows shared hosting, WordPress hosting, VPS, dedicated servers and GPU cloud. Its prices are low, it guarantees CPU and RAM even on shared plans, and it has data centres on four continents. The fine print matters more than usual here, so we’ve read its terms of service for you. Every figure below comes from AccuWeb’s own pages, checked on 11 October 2026.

Who AccuWeb Hosting is

AccuWeb Hosting is part of the Vaghasia Group of Companies and says it has 23+ years of hosting experience. Its About page says it services over 55,000 web hosting accounts; its WordPress page quotes 101K+ customers and 1 million+ websites hosted (the figures likely count different things). It runs both Linux and Windows hosting, which is less common among budget hosts and useful if you need ASP.NET or a Windows VPS.

Its web, WordPress and reseller hosting runs in seven data centres: Denver and Dallas in the United States, London, Frankfurt, Singapore, Sydney and Mumbai. Each facility lists security certifications such as SOC 2 Type II or ISO/IEC 27001, and AccuWeb says it doesn’t charge extra for choosing a location. Picking the data centre closest to your readers is a real advantage for sites aimed at Asia, Australia or Europe.

WordPress hosting plans and prices

AccuWeb’s WordPress plans run on LiteSpeed servers, are secured with CloudLinux, use cPanel, and include a free domain for the first year (on annual or longer billing), free SSL, free daily backups and free migration. Prices below are for the default 36-month first term.

AccuWeb WordPress hosting on a 36-month first term. Basic, 1 website and 25 GB: $1.99 a month, renews $3.99. Startup, 5 websites and 50 GB: $2.99, renews $6.99. Professional, unlimited sites and 75 GB: $3.99, renews $9.99. Advanced, unlimited sites and 100 GB: $6.99, renews $13.99.

Advanced$6.99/mo$13.99/moUnlimited100 GB SSD4 GB / 2

Bandwidth runs from 500 GB on Basic to 3 TB on Advanced, and email accounts from 25 to 1,000. These are among the lowest renewal prices we’ve seen for WordPress hosting: Startup renews at $6.99 a month, where many hosts renew a similar plan at $10 to $14. The guaranteed RAM on every plan is a genuine plus for a busy WordPress site.

What every WordPress plan includes

  • cPanel to manage files, email, databases and domains, with MySQL databases from 5 on Basic and 10 on Startup to unlimited on Professional and Advanced.
  • Free domain for the first year on annual or longer billing, for .com, .net, .org, .co.uk, .in and .us.
  • Free email accounts: 25 on Basic, 150 on Startup, 500 on Professional and 1,000 on Advanced, with autoresponders, forwarders and routing.
  • Free SSL, free daily backups and free migration on every plan.
  • One-click staging, so you can test updates privately before they reach your live site.

Three-year cost, worked out

Because the 36-month first term is paid up front, it helps to see the real totals, and what year four costs at renewal:

AccuWeb WordPress plans: 36-month first term and the following year
PlanFirst 3 years (paid up front)Year 4 at renewal
Basic$71.64$47.88
Startup$107.64$83.88
Professional$143.64$119.88
Advanced$251.64$167.88

Calculated from AccuWeb’s listed monthly prices; taxes and domain renewals are extra. For comparison, Hosting.com’s Starter costs $89.65 for its first 3 years and $167.88 a year at its regular price.

The renewal column is where AccuWeb stands out: a year of Startup after the first term costs about half what many budget hosts charge for a similar plan.

Enterprise WordPress Cloud

For bigger WordPress sites, AccuWeb’s WordPress Cloud starts at $6.99 a month (renewing at $9.99) with 25 GB of NVMe storage and 2 vCPU threads, and rises to $34.99 (renews $49.99), $100.79 (renews $143.99) and $489.99 a month (renews $699.99) for 150 GB and 30 vCPU threads. It applies WordPress core updates and security fixes automatically and locks the core files against changes, which protects against a common kind of hack.

Linux shared hosting

AccuWeb’s Linux shared hosting is pitched as “never oversold”: every plan has its own guaranteed RAM and CPU. On a 36-month term:

  • Bootstrap: $2.79 a month and renews at the same $2.79, with 100 websites, 25 GB, 750 GB bandwidth, 1 GB RAM and 1 vCPU, and 150 email accounts.
  • Premium: $3.99 a month (renews $9.99): unlimited websites, 75 GB, 1 TB bandwidth, 1.5 GB RAM and 2 vCPU, plus a free CDN.
  • Enterprise Pro: $5.99 a month (renews $13.99): unlimited websites, 100 GB, 1.5 TB bandwidth, 2 GB RAM and 2 vCPU.

Bootstrap renewing at its first-term price is unusual and makes it one of the cheapest long-term options anywhere. Windows shared hosting is also available for sites that need it.

Windows hosting

Windows hosting is where AccuWeb differs most from budget rivals, many of which sell Linux only. It offers Windows shared hosting for ASP.NET sites, Windows reseller hosting, and Windows VPS from $6.33 a month, which suits software that only runs on Windows, such as some trading platforms. Its Windows shared and reseller hosting runs in its Denver data centre, and Windows VPS locations include Denver, New York and London, so check the location list for Windows before you order.

VPS and dedicated servers

AccuWeb’s Linux VPS plans give you guaranteed RAM, vCPU and storage, root access and 24/7 support, on enterprise CPUs such as AMD EPYC and networks from 1 to 25 Gbps. The first-term prices are low, but the renewals are several times higher, so read both numbers:

AccuWeb Linux VPS on a 24-month term, first price versus renewal. 4 GB RAM: $4.95, renews $9.99. 8 GB: $6.95, renews $19.99. 16 GB: $9.95, renews $39.99. 32 GB: $19.95, renews $79.99.
VPS renewals are two to four times the first price.

32 GB RAM$19.95/mo$79.99/mo4400 GB1,000 GB

Windows VPS starts at $6.33 a month, and AccuWeb also sells VPS images ready for apps such as Nextcloud, Odoo, Mattermost, Ghost and game servers, plus Forex VPS for trading platforms. Dedicated servers start at $103 a month for 32 GB of RAM and 2 × 480 GB SSDs on a 1 Gbps network.

AccuWeb Hosting for agencies and resellers

AccuWeb also targets agencies and developers. Its WordPress hosting for agencies lets you host unlimited client sites with full cPanel access, staging environments and a white-label service, so clients see your brand rather than AccuWeb’s. It sells Linux, Windows and VPS reseller hosting too, for anyone who wants to resell hosting under their own name. Combined with its choice of seven data centres, that makes it practical for agencies whose clients are spread across regions. If you manage many client sites, our guide to tools for managing multiple WordPress sites covers dashboards that work with any host.

The guarantee and refunds: read this before you buy

AccuWeb advertises a 30-day money-back guarantee, but its terms of service are narrower than the headline:

What AccuWeb's guarantee covers, from its terms of service. Cancel without charge: shared, reseller and CDN within 30 days; VPS and private cloud within 7 days. Not refunded: domains, cPanel and Plesk licences, set-up fees, prepaid time after the guarantee, and discounted long terms carry an early termination fee.
Summarised from AccuWeb’s terms of service, checked 11 October 2026.
  • Shared, reseller and CDN hosting: you can cancel without penalty within 30 days of the start date.
  • VPS and private cloud: only 7 days.
  • Never refunded: domain registrations, cPanel and Plesk licences, third-party products and set-up fees.
  • After the guarantee: if you cancel, prepaid amounts aren’t refunded.
  • Discounted long terms: if your price was discounted because you chose an extended term and you cancel early, the terms say you pay the rest of the fee “as if the full extended Term had been completed”.

That last point is the one to weigh. A 36-month first term gives you the lowest price, but you’re committing to the full term. If you’re unsure, test the plan within the guarantee window, or choose a shorter term first.

Speed and performance

AccuWeb’s plans run on LiteSpeed web servers with SSD or NVMe storage, its VPS on AMD EPYC processors, and every shared plan has guaranteed RAM and CPU, which helps keep a busy site steady when neighbours on the same server get traffic spikes. We didn’t run new speed tests for this update, so treat performance claims as AccuWeb’s own. The biggest speed win you control is the data centre: choose the location nearest your readers when you order. Then test your own site in the first weeks, while you’re still inside the guarantee window.

Support

AccuWeb offers 24/7 support by live chat, ticket and phone, plus Aida, an AI support agent that answers questions about errors and DNS. It quotes a first response to tickets in under 11 minutes. Free migration is included, under its migration terms. Reviews on its own site show a Trustpilot rating of 4.3 out of 5 from 217 reviews, alongside its own 4.8 customer rating, so treat star ratings as a rough guide and test support yourself during the guarantee.

AccuWeb Hosting pros and cons

What we like: low first-term prices and unusually low renewals on WordPress and Linux shared plans (Bootstrap renews at $2.79); guaranteed RAM and CPU on shared plans; seven data-centre locations at no extra cost; Linux and Windows options; daily backups, SSL and migration included. What we don’t: VPS renewals are two to four times the first price; the VPS guarantee is only 7 days; and the early termination fee on discounted long terms makes a long commitment hard to undo.

On renewal price alone, AccuWeb’s WordPress and Linux plans beat most budget hosts. Hostinger is easier for beginners, and Hosting.com has no contract or early-termination fee. Read our A2 Hosting (Hosting.com) review and Liquid Web review, or compare more options in cheap WordPress hosting and the best WordPress hosting.

Which AccuWeb plan should you choose?

  • One small blog: WordPress Basic, or Linux Bootstrap if you want its renewal to stay at $2.79.
  • A few sites or a growing blog: WordPress Startup, for 5 websites, 2 GB of RAM and a $6.99 renewal.
  • Many sites or busy WooCommerce stores: Professional or Advanced, with unlimited websites and 3 to 4 GB of RAM.
  • Custom apps, Windows software or full control: a VPS, sized by RAM, budgeting for the renewal price rather than the first-term offer.

Choose the term you’re sure you’ll keep. The 36-month term gives the lowest price, but cancelling a discounted long term early triggers the early termination fee.

Who should choose AccuWeb Hosting

  • Good fit: bloggers who want low prices that stay low at renewal; sites whose readers are in Asia, Australia or Europe (Singapore, Sydney, Mumbai, London, Frankfurt); anyone who needs Windows hosting; and users comfortable with cPanel.
  • Look elsewhere: anyone who wants a long refund window on a VPS, or the freedom to leave a multi-year plan early; and beginners who want the simplest dashboard.

Is AccuWeb Hosting worth it? Our verdict

For budget WordPress and Linux hosting, yes. AccuWeb’s renewal prices are among the lowest we’ve found (Startup at $6.99, Bootstrap staying at $2.79), resources are guaranteed rather than oversold, and you can choose from seven locations. Go in with your eyes open on two points: VPS prices jump sharply at renewal, and the terms make long discounted terms hard to cancel early. Test your plan inside the guarantee window (30 days for shared, 7 for VPS), and pick the term length you’re sure you’ll keep.
